We have a large and ever expanding junior section due to our fantastic Junior Membership prices. Coaching classes are available on a Tuesday night. We also run a Junior Summer League to introduce the kids to the competitive side of the sport as well as Junior Summer Camps.
We have a small but active ladies section that meets twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as being involved in several local leagues. They also have a full club competition calendar with fixtures throughout the summer on Saturdays and Sundays as well as fortnightly handicap qualifying competitions on Thursdays.
Initially seen as the ‘beginners day’, Tuesday’s social golf is often only 10 holes from 11am to ease those who perhaps lack confidence into the beautiful game. Ladies of all abilities go out and return for a coffee and cake or bacon bap in the Clubhouse afterwards.
Whilst Thursday is still a social day, the ladies section run fortnightly qualifying competitions that alternate between stableford and strokeplay formats. They meet at 12 noon on Thursdays and tee off from 12:30pm.
The Ladies Section are involved in the 3 Counties Bronze League, Lancashire Bronze League and also in the Daily Mail Cup, a knockout competition. Involvement in these competitions would give you the opportunity to play at courses such as Heysham, Fishwick Hall and Silverdale, to name but a few.
Within the Club our gentlemen members have an active competitive calendar with regular Saturday competitions. There is a medal once a month as well as several other stableford and knockout competitions throughout the season.
The Dales League is the smallest of the 3 local leagues but still play competitively within the area against Kirkby Lonsdale, Casteron and Settle. You can have any handicap to qualify to play for the Dales. The only cost for playing in the team matches is the cost of your meal after the round which is normally around £8.50.

The Rabbits League is for players with a handicap of 18 – 28. Other players can be included at the organisers’ discretion. The only cost for playing in the team matches is the cost of your meal after the round which is normally around £8.50.For more information on joining the Rabbits please contact Phil Bolland or Jez Moss.

Our senior gents meet on a daily basis (Monday to Friday) at 09:30 am and play 10 holes, teeing off from 10:00 am. Following their round they return to the clubhouse for a well earned brew and to put the world to rights.
As well as their daily social rounds the Seniors Section have a very comprehensive competitive calendar. Fixtures include the likes of Colne Golf Club, Heysham Golf Club and Furness as well as several more.
